Teams

• Each team will have 3 players, possibly a sub if numbers allow.

Gameplay

• The game will consist of 4 quarters.

  • 1st through 3rd quarter will be 5 minute running timed.  With 2 minute water break, subs, strategy time.

  • 4th quarter will end with the Elam ending.

    • Use the score following the end of the 3rd quarter and take the leading score + 7 points.  That is the “Target Score”.  There is no time limit but max of 10 minutes.

Scoring

• Every basket is worth 1 point

Shot Clock

• 15 second shot clock will be used if available

Fouls

• 3 team fouls and every foul after = 1 point. (keep the game moving)

Referee

• High school boys will be the referees and shot/score clock workers.

Grades

• 6th-8th will play together

Wins/Losses

• Players will register as individuals.  Each week, the players will be assigned to a new team based on their previous wins and losses.  This will keep the games competitive each week and will provide variance amongst the teams and players.
